The Kano State Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Kano Science Secondary Schools Old Students Association (KASSOSA) Class of 2021 General Chapter to strengthen collaboration in health education, community outreach, and youth development across the state.
The Director General of DMCSA, Pharm. Gali Sule, disclosed this when he received the executive members of the association during a courtesy visit to the Agency’s headquarters in Kano.
Welcoming the delegation, Pharm. Sule commended the association for its unity, leadership, and community spirit, describing their initiative as a reflection of the values of excellence and service promoted by Kano’s science education system.
Pharm. Sule emphasized the importance of science education in grooming future leaders capable of driving innovation in healthcare, research, and technology. He assured the group of DMCSA’s readiness to collaborate on public health campaigns, responsible drug use awareness, and science-based community service projects.
Earlier, the Chairman of KASSOSA Class of 2021, Comrade Auwal Mustapha Maikano, expressed appreciation for the DG’s leadership and commitment to transparency and efficiency in public service. He praised DMCSA’s efforts in ensuring the availability of affordable and quality medical consumables across Kano’s healthcare facilities.
“On behalf of KASSOSA Class of 2021, I commend Pharm. Gali Sule for his open-door policy and dedication to community partnership. This collaboration will create opportunities for health campaigns, mentorship, and volunteer projects in schools and local communities,” Maikano said.
He reaffirmed the association’s commitment to partnering with DMCSA in health awareness, educational outreach, and community development initiatives.
The visit, he added, forms part of KASSOSA’s ongoing engagement to build stronger ties between alumni of science secondary schools and key institutions promoting education, healthcare, and innovation in Kano State.
KASSOSA, an umbrella body for science secondary school graduates in Kano, is devoted to promoting science education, professional growth, and community service across the state.
