The Special Adviser on Special Duties to the Kebbi State Governor, Alhaji Shafi’u Abubakar Shatiman Zauro, says the state government intends to take legal action against former Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, over alleged defamation of Governor Nasir Idris.
Speaking at a press conference in Birnin Kebbi, Alhaji Shafi’u Abubakar accused Malami of attempting to sow discord in the state by making baseless allegations, including claims that the governor is sponsoring terrorism.
He described Malami’s accusations as unfounded blackmail and a deliberate attempt to tarnish the image of the governor and destabilize the peace Kebbi State is known for.
