A 22 year old bride Zainab Ibrahim was butchered in Warfare Quarters , Hadejia Local Government area of Jigawa State five weeks after her wedding.
Spokesman of the command SP. Lawan Shiisu Adam disclosed this in a statement issued to newsmen.

According to him police in Hadejiia received a distress call that, one Zainab Ibrahim of Warware Quarters, Hadejia LGA was found unconscious in pool of her blood at her five (5) weeks matrimonial home.

He said police rushed to the scene
and noticed a deep cut on her throat, she was rushed to General Hospital Hadejia.
The medical doctor on call pronounced her dead.
An investigation has begun, and efforts are being stepped up to apprehend the perpetrators of the heinous act.
