The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, through his Private Secretary, Abdullahi Haruna Kwaru, has formally notified security agencies, particularly the police, about the schedule for the traditional Sallah festivities marking the end of Ramadan.

The festivities will feature the Hawan Sallah, Hawan Daushe, and Hawan Nasarawa on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd days of Shawwal, followed by additional cultural celebrations on the 4th day of Shawwal.
The notification aims to ensure proper security arrangements for the events, which also coincide with the 5th anniversary of Emir Aminu Ado Bayero’s ascension to the throne.
The Emir expressed his hope for a peaceful and successful celebration.

In his concluding remarks, he extended prayers for peace, good health, and the preservation of Islamic values, saying:
