President of the National Youth Alliance NYA, Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas has called on youths to take their rightful positions come twenty twenty seven.
In his address at the Northern Youth Summit in Kaduna State, the President said Nigerian youths agreed to push for a new Nigeria.
The youths from the nineteen northern states converged in Kaduna state and unanimously agreed to take decision for the interest of the country.
Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas lamented that there is hardships in the country and there is the need for the youths to take charge politically in the next elections.
“NYA is a movement that has attracted youth from all the political parties, with the sole aim of birthing a new Nigeria that will work for all”.
“NYA has been able to attract youth from the All Progressives Congress (APC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), APGA, NNPP and other parties, he said.
“As you can see, they came here in numbers for what they believe in, as patriotic Nigeria’s, they are yearning for change that will put Nigeria on the right pedestal,” he said.
Most of the leaders of the National Youth Alliance from different part of the country spoke on the need to be united and support young individuals who might be vying for key positions in the next general elections.
The summit assured that they are working towards one Nigeria in respective of where one come from.
In his welcome address the Coordinator of the Northern Summit, Abubakar Muhammad assured that NYA would also accord priority to ensure the protection of the people of the country particularly the northern part.
He also condemned the arraignment of minors for alleged treason, describing it as violation of the child rights act.
