In a bid to alleviate the suffering of vulnerable individuals in Kano, the Aminu Magashi Garba Foundation (AMG Foundation) has donated blankets, soaps, and detergents worth N1.5 million to 150 beneficiaries.
The donation, whichh took place on Friday, January 3, 2025, was led by the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Women, Children and Disable, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani, and Dr. Aminu Magashi Garba, Chair of AMG Foundation.
The Items donated include:
150 blankets
300 soaps
150 rolls of sachet detergents

The beneficiaries, who are residents of the Old People Home in Shahuci, Kwalli VVF Rehabilitation Center, and Nassarawa Children’s Home, will use these essential items to keep warm and maintain personal hygiene during the harmattan period.

Dr. Magashi, who is also the Technical Adviser, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, assessed the health challenges faced by the beneficiaries and promised to address them.
The Commissioner Kano state ministry of women, children and disabled Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani, thanked Dr. Magashi and AMG Foundation for their timely and laudable support.
