Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital AKTH has performed its first laser surgery after the Tertiary education trust fund (Tetfund) intervention. The surgery which took place shortly after a three-day workshop on Urology and kidney transplant was attended by doctors from 7 northern universities was the first of its kind. The Aminu Magashi Garba (AMG) Foundation has fulfilled its promise to empower 50 women in Kano State through a skills acquisition training program.
