The Dutch Directorate General for International Cooperation (DGIS)  Netherlands has provided €100 million to Nigeria, Niger Republic, Burkina Faso, and Mali to improve soil health and fertility. The Dutch government is giving the support through the Soil Values programme. The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), in collaboration with Nigeria Inter-bank Settlement System (NIBSS) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), is set to launch an improved national identity card layered with payment capabilities. The new, improved National ID Card will, beginning April, 2024, deliver social service programmes. The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) says the nation’s oil and gas reserves as of January 1, 2024, have reached 37.50 billion barrels, compared to the 37.046 billion barrels reported in May 2022. Ramatu Garba The Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, Kano State Chapter, says it  has received 93 cases from January to March 2024. The state Coordinator,  Muhammad Auwal-Kofa, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Kano.
