Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO has revealed the cause of the current power outage in its franchise area, comprising Kano, Jigawa and Katsina states. In a statement signed by its spokesman, Sani Bala Sani in Kano on Monday, the power outage was due to tripping on the 330kV Ugaji-Makurdi-Jos line from Enugu Transmission Station, which occurred at 04:57 a.m. yesterday, October 21st 2024.
