The Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman, has accepted 16 years as the official age for admission into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in Nigeria. This decision comes after stakeholders’ deliberation to provide opportunities for students under the age of 18 in the 2024 UTME.
