Kano State Government would work closely with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and Republic of Korea to enhance technical and vocational education across the state. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC has declared a former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, wanted for offences relating to economic and financial crimes. This was contained in a notice posted on the commission’s official Facebook page on Thursday. “Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, is wanted by the EFCC for offences relating to economic and financial crimes to the tune of N80.2 bn. “Anybody with information as to his whereabouts should report immediately to the commission or the nearest police station,” the notice read. The United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF says boosting routine immunization would eradicate polio and childhood killer diseases in Nigeria. The officer in charge (OIC), of UNICEF Kano office Mr. Michael Banda, made the indication during a media briefing and orientation on the polio campaign organized by UNICEF in collaboration with Kano state primary healthcare development agency. A Kano state High Court has granted an ex parte order restraining the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje from parading himself as a member of the party.
