The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in Kano State has agreed to resume full services at the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital after Governor Abba Yusuf intervened in the dispute between the association and Commissioner Aisha Abdullahi over an alleged assault on a doctor. The NMA had initially withdrawn its services after issuing a 48-hour ultimatum to the state government to sack Commissioner Abdullahi.
