Barrister Auwalu Mohammed assumes office as new Acting Director, Radio Nigeria Abuja Operations on Monday, 6th May 2024.
He assumes the position at an official welcome meeting by the members of the Committee of Management, who represent the heads of departments and general managers, of FRCN Abuja operations, following the retirement of Alhaja Sherifat Ahmed.
In his remarks Barrister Mohammed said he is a strong believer in doing things the right way and emphasized the importance of staff discipline in carrying out their duties.
During an interview with Click Naija in his office, Auwalu Mohammed conveyed his joy about his appointment but admitted that it was unexpected.
He promised to introduce innovations to Abuja Operations while pledging to continue the good work of his predecessor.
Until his appointment as the Acting Director of Abuja Operations, Barrister Auwalu Mohammed was the Deputy Director of Programmes at Radio Nigeria, Kaduna.
