The Director of Centre for Gender Studies (CGS), Bayero University Kano (BUK) Ambassador Dr Safiya Nuhu, has described peacebuilding, peacekeeping and peace processes as important aspects of multilateralism and diplomacy.

Dr Safiya made the indication during an event to commemorate the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace 2024.

“To be able to find how we can arouse the consciousness of youths to diplomacy is enormous
    ”

Some of the participants Professor Hassana Sani Darma, Ambassador Ahmed Mohammad Makarfi, Zainab Olufunmi and Abubakar Tijjani Rabi’u described the event as apt.
