In it’s quest to alliviate the sufferings caused by the subsidy Removal the federal government has officially commissioned a CNG Conversion Center at Gundutse ,Kura local government Kano.

Speaking during the opening ceremony Director General Chief Executive National Automotive Design And Development Council Mr. Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin said the initiative would go along way in enhancing CNG Conversion ,as well as training of auto mechanics who will duell into the conversion Process.

He the council has already concluded arrangement for training all stakeholders involved with a view to curtail the challenges of CNG Conversion.

Out of the 21 CNG Conversion Centers built accross the country 15 have been fully equipped,saying the remaining would soon be completed.

He urged the trainees to use the golden opportunity in learning the skill of CNG Conversion with a view to achieve the desired goals.

In their separate remarks engineer Magaji Sani the president of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association (NATA) said their members occupies largest percentage of the automotive value chain,stressing that the training would help immensely in boosting the Nations socio economic development.

“This initiative will uplift the skills of our members in the automotive value chain with the aim of achieving effective service delivery.

The president appeal to the federal government to provide a soft loan for members of the association with a view to purchase necessary tools for engine assembling .

Earlier the Minister of Industry,Trade and Investment Dr Doris Uzoka-Anite said the renewed hope Agenda of the current Administration was keen to providing more Job Opportunities to the teeming youth of the country.

She said establishing conversion Centers in various parts of the country was a clear testimony of president Tinubu commitment to alliviate the sufferings of Nigerians as a result of fuel subsidy Removal.

The Minister congratulates the people of Kano for having such an equipped Automotive training and CNG Conversion Centers at their door steps urging them to make adequate utilization of the opportunity.
