The Speaker Kano State House of Assembly, Alhaji Jibril Ismail Falgore extends his felicitations to the people of Kano State and all Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day.
In a statement signed by the chief press secretary to the speaker Kamaluddeen Sani Shawai and made available to newsmen in Kano.

Falgore explained that the future of Kano and Nigeria shines brightly, considering the progress made from 1999 to date.
“We have much to celebrate as we have come a long way since 1999. Despite significant challenges, we have leveraged our indigenous strengths to achieve noteworthy milestones, particularly in the realms of quality legislation and good governance.”
He affirmed, “We assure the good people of Kano State of our steadfast commitment and dedication to enacting quality legislation that enhances the living standards of our populace, notably in areas impacting youth and women.”
However, the speaker acknowledged the economic challenges facing the people of Kano and Nigeria, emphasizing the importance of continuous prayers for better days ahead.
Falgore urged the public to exhibit resilience and solidarity in promoting a prosperous state and nation, underscoring the positive strides initiated by the Executive Governor of Kano State, in addressing prevailing challenges.
