The Farin Dutse community in Jigawa State came together on Sunday, December 8, 2024, to celebrate a remarkable achievement by one of their own, Abduljabbar Idris Farin Dutse.

Abduljabbar emerged as the winner of the 2024 Jigawa State Quranic recitation competition, which is the highest category of 60 Hizb (Qur’anic recitation, Tafsir, and Qira’at).

The Village Head of Farin Dutse, Malam Mustapha Hassan, led the celebrations and praised Abduljabbar’s dedication to Islamic studies.

He urged the community’s youth to follow in Abduljabbar’s footsteps and pursue Islamic knowledge, emphasizing the importance of living according to the teachings and ethics of the Islamic religion.

Malam Mustapha Hassan also commended the Executive Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar Namadi, for his sound policies and initiatives that have enabled the less privileged to benefit from his leadership.

He assured the governor of the community’s unflinching support.

The Village Head also appreciated the gesture of the Rt. Honourable Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, who donated a cash gift of N100,000 to Abduljabbar.

The community members reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Islamic education and values, praising the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Hamim Nuhu Muhammad Sunusi, for his guidance and leadership.

Abduljabbar Idris Farin Dutse expressed his gratitude to his parents, teachers, family, and community members for their support.

He encouraged other youth to engage in Quranic memorization and seek knowledge, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and dedication.
