The 22-year-old student of Savannah Group of Schools, who was instrumental in his team’s impressive run in the competition, has set his sights on playing for the Nigerian senior men’s national football team, the Super Eagles, and Spanish giants, Real Madrid.

Aliyu, who previously played for the Kano Pillars FC feeder team, believes that with hard work and determination, he can achieve his dreams and become a great player like Victor Osimhen.

A Bright Future Ahead

Despite losing in the final of the Principals Cup, Aliyu remains optimistic about his future prospects.

He plans to attend trials after completing his final exams, with the hope of signing a professional contract soon.

“I am grateful to my teammates, Games Master, and school management for their support throughout the competition,” Aliyu said. “Although we lost in the final, I am proud of what we achieved, and I am already looking forward to preparing for the next edition.”
