Kano State Government has announced the resumption dates for the 2024/2025 third term academic session.
Boarding public and private primary and post-primary schools are set to resume on Sunday, April 6, 2025, while day schools will resume on Monday, April 7, 2025.

The Director of Public Enlightenment, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, emphasized the importance of parents and guardians taking note of the resumption date to ensure total compliance.
Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, warned that disciplinary action would be taken against defaulting students or pupils.
Schools Record High Attendance As 2nd Term Begins in Kano
Dr. Makoda advised students to avoid bringing prohibited items to school and remain law-abiding to succeed in their studies.
He also urged academic and non-academic staff to report to their respective schools for their official duties.
