Kano State Government has implemented the new minimum wage of N71,000 for its workers, just three weeks after receiving the committee report for the review of the new minimum wage.
This move is a significant milestone in enhancing the welfare and living standards of the state’s workforce.
The Head of Civil Service in Kano State, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa, expressed gratitude to the governor for fulfilling his promise and urged civil servants to reciprocate the gesture by exhibiting hard work and dedication .
In addition to the implementation of the new minimum wage, the Kano State Government has also commenced payments for all allowances of health workers in the state.
