Students of Kaduna State University (KASU) have distinguished themselves at the North-West Regional Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Inter-University Quiz Competition held in July, securing an impressive third-place position among participating institutions across the region.
The university’s three-member team—Ahmed Muhammad Kabir, Shinom Esther Shingyu, and Adenusi Oluwaseyi Funmi Moses—demonstrated remarkable preparedness and intellectual capacity despite facing the challenge of overlapping academic examinations. Their performance earned KASU recognition for excellence, teamwork, and resilience.
Speaking on the achievement, the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Kabir Dauda, praised the students for their commitment and perseverance, describing their success as a testament to the high academic standards upheld by the university.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Prof. Muhammad Bashir Ali, also commended the team, noting that their accomplishment has brought positive visibility to the institution and reflects the dedication of both students and their academic mentors.
The university community has celebrated the students’ performance, viewing it as a reflection of the talent and determination that define KASU students. The institution expressed optimism that the success will inspire greater achievements in future academic and professional competitions.
