The event, held on the university’s campus, drew attendees from KHAIRUN’s staff and students, as well as representatives from sister universities.

Professor Ibrahim Siraj, Chairman of the occasion, highlighted the competitive nature of global university rankings and their impact on universities’ reputations.

He stressed the need for universities to prepare adequately by meeting ranking criteria, thereby enhancing their recognition nationally and internationally.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Muhammad Auwal Ibrahim, Head of the Biochemistry Department and Director of the Center for Research and Innovations at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, provided insightful guidance on achieving global ranking and recognition.
He delved into the indices and parameters used by ranking bodies, offering practical advice for universities aspiring to improve their standings.

The lecture was attended by representatives from various universities, including Baba Ahmed University, Azman University, Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, YUMSUK, ADUSTECH, and El-Razi Medical University.
