Kano State government’s policy of monthly women empowerment has been described as a giant step towards economic advancement and poverty reduction.
The member representing Tarauni Alhaji Kabiru Dahiru Sule made the commendation in Kano.
According to him, considering the socioeconomic problems bringing succour to women through empowerment would yield positive results.
Alhaji Kabiru further commended the Governor for his visionary foresight in advancing the State in different Spheres of human endeavour and urged the people to rally around the present administration for the continued execution of more meaningful projects across the State.
The lawmaker representing Tarauni applauded the state government for it timely intervention to victims of fire disaster in the Gezawa Local government area.
He thanked Senator Dr Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso for the sympathy visit to the victims describing it as a clear testimony of his deep concern to the people of the State.
