Madobi Local Government Council chairman Hon Suleiman Dan Azumi has taken a significant step in promoting sports development and youth empowerment in the area.
He distributed sports kits to several football clubs, including Kafin Agur Eleven, Kauran Mata FC, and Kwankwaso United, among others.
The sports kits, which include jerseys, shorts, socks, and footballs, aim to support the growth of football in the local government area.
Chairman Dan Azumi emphasized the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition among young people.
Hon Suleiman Rabiu Madobi, Special Adviser to the executive Chairman on Youths and Sports, noted that the distribution of sports kits demonstrates the present Administration’s dedication to investing in youth development and promoting a culture of sports and physical activity in the community.
The local government coach, Nuhu Dahiru Gora, highlighted that this initiative is part of Governor Abba Kabir Yusif Administration’s efforts in promoting sport as a tool for youth development, social cohesion, and community engagement.
Captain Yusha’u Baita of Kanwa Black Arrow FC commended the governor’s administration for the kind gesture and promised to use the sports kits judiciously.
