The Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Katsina State Governor, Alh. Dikko Umar Radda, and the people of Katsina over the passing of the governor’s mother, late Hajia Safara’u Umaru.

Hon. Ata described the late Hajia Safara’u as a great loss to the entire Muslim community.
He emphasized the importance of preparing for eternal life, saying, “Death is a path that all mortal beings must take sooner or later.”

Hon. Ata prayed for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness for the shortcomings of the deceased and hoped that Governor Radda and the people of Katsina would find the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Late Hajia Safara’u Umaru passed away at the age of 93 in a Saudi Arabian hospital after a prolonged illness.
