The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ)  paid a courtesy visit to the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) office, led by the National Chairperson, Aisha K. Bura.

According to the chairperson,the visit aims to explore avenues for collaboration in empowering women entrepreneurs across the nation.

Aisha commended  SMEDAN for its dedication to empowering women in entrepreneurship and pledges to collaborate closely in advancing this noble cause.

SMEDAN officials highlighted their commitment to supporting women and youth through various programs and initiatives. They emphasized the importance of fostering partnerships to enhance the capacity of women in entrepreneurship and mitigate challenges faced by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Head of unit Women and Youths SMEDAN Mrs. Fawale Olabimpe,  expressed readiness to work with NAWOJ in implementing training programs tailored to the needs of women entrepreneurs.

She emphasized the need for a technical committee to devise strategies and modalities for effective implementation.
