In continuation of the weekly multi-sectoral emergency meetings in Jigawa State, officials from the NEMA Kano Territorial Office, led by Coordinator Dr. Nuraddeen Abdullahi, participated in the third-week session.
The meeting aimed to address the immediate needs of flood-affected individuals in the state, particularly the internally displaced persons (IDPs) currently housed in camps.
During the meeting, various MDAs, NGOs, and development partners made presentations on their activities in the camps. Gaps in response efforts were identified, and discussions were held on the way forward to better meet the needs of those affected across different camps in the state.
