The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Kano Territorial Office, in collaboration with Nigerian Air Space Management Agency organized a planning meeting.
According to the NEMA Kano Jigawa Territorial office coordinator Dr. Nura Abdullahi
The meeting was part of preparations for the forthcoming Plane Crash Search and Rescue (SAR) Mock Simulation Exercise.
He stressed that, the initiative aims to strengthen the response capabilities of relevant stakeholders in Kano State, ensuring efficient and coordinated action in the event of an emergency.
The coordinator highlighted that, the planning meeting was designed to:
1. Outline the scope and objectives of the SAR Mock Simulation Exercise.
2. Address logistical requirements and operational challenges.
3. Establish a framework for effective inter-agency collaboration during the exercise.
