The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has taken a significant step towards ensuring transparency and accountability in its electoral process.

The institute has inaugurated the 2025 Council Electoral Committee, tasked with conducting elections using an electronic voting system .

The 13-man committee, chaired by Prof. Uche Mbanaso, has been charged with ensuring strict adherence to established rules and ethical standards.

NIPR Takes Center Stage at National Council Meeting

The committee’s vice chairman is Mr. Tosin Igbalawole, while other members include Mallam Mohammed Rabiu Wada, Dr. (Mrs.) Agatha Obiageri Orji-Egwu, and nine others.

The NIPR President, Dr. Ike Neliaku, emphasized the importance of effective engagement with every member to ensure widespread understanding and participation in the voting process.

He also noted that the 2025 Council Election is expected to set a high standard for future elections in terms of inclusiveness, transparency, and accountability.
