The Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) Kano state house of assembly chapter organized a farewell reception to honor 23 members who retired from civil service on December 31st, 2024.
The ceremony, which took place at the Kano State House of Assembly, was attended by the chairman of the union, Comrade Bashir Yahaya, and the clerk of the House, Alh Bashir Idris Diso.
Comrade Yahaya praised the retirees for their dedication and sacrifice during their active service, as well as their efforts in maintaining cordial relationships with other staff members.

Alh Diso, who also spoke at the ceremony, commended the retirees for their contributions to the development and harmonious working relationship among assembly staff.
The retirees, who completed their mandatory 35 years of service, were presented with gifts and certificates of appreciation.
The list of retirees includes Garba M. Kadawa, Nasidi Aliyu, Abdul’aziz Sule, and 20 others.
