Servicom, has kicked off a two-day seminar with the goal of enhancing service delivery standards across various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs).
The seminar aims to create a platform for stakeholders to share best practices, engage in peer reviews, discuss challenges, and explore innovative solutions to improve service effectiveness.
In her opening remarks, Servicom’s National Coordinator and CEO, Nnena Akajemeli, emphasized the importance of prioritizing quality service delivery in MDAs.
She highlighted that this two-day training is an annual strategy to fulfill the government’s mandate and ensure sectorial networking on service delivery.
The seminar brought together high-volume service providers from various ministries, including education, agriculture, power, environment, and interior, to discuss enhancing their service frameworks and meeting public expectations.
Participants from different agencies emphasized the significance of the seminar in improving their approaches to service delivery.
Anthony Oboh, a desk officer from the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja, noted that the seminar provides networking opportunities to address challenges collectively, and he plans to implement what he learned in his ministry.
Another participant, Muhammad Magashi from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC in Kano, explained how the training would influence his agency’s operations, focusing on areas for improvement and aligning their work with desired standards.
Radio Nigeria reports that, the seminar themed ”Enhancing Stakeholders’ Participation in Service Delivery through Strategic Sensitization on Service Charter Performance,” witnessed a large turnout of Servicom desk officers and relevant stakeholders across MDAs in the country.
