Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, has described the the progress of the Renewed Hope Housing Project in Damaturu, Yobe State as fair.
During his visit to the site on Saturday, Minister Ata expressed satisfaction with some of the building performance, roads, drainages water and electricity.

He called on some of contractors building some parts of the Renewed hope estate to improve as most of the houses are on DVC level.
Minister Ata commended the contractors for their hard work and dedication, noting that the project’s progress in Yobe is ahead of Benue and Kano.

He emphasized the importance of timely completion, urging contractors to maintain their current tempo to finish the project before the rainy season.
Ata also encouraged contractors to submit evaluation reviews to accommodate additional costs.
The federal controller,Emmanuel Peter, described the minister’s evaluation as a great milestone and urged him to expedite payment requests to facilitate speedy completion.

Contractors Bashir Ibrahim Bakori and Mala Kacallah Ali welcomed the minister and promised to complete their tasks within the stipulated time.
