The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, has praised the efforts of the Cordenia Education and Technology Foundation in promoting education and technological advancement.
During an interactive meeting held at the Minister of Education’s conference room, Dr. Alausa engaged the foundation’s representatives on various critical issues, particularly the need to prevent an overstretched curriculum.

The minister assured the foundation that steps would be taken to address challenges related to duty-free waivers on instructional materials, promising that a letter would be forwarded to the Federal Ministry of Finance to facilitate the process.
Additionally, he emphasized the importance of engaging with the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) across various states to enhance digital support for sustainable human and capital development.

Professor Suwaiba Sa’id Ahmad, Minister of State for Education, also contributed to the discussions, particularly on curriculum integration.
She instructed the foundation to submit its curriculum for proper alignment with national education standards.
The founder of Cordenia Education and Technology Foundation, Mr. Olajide Akanji, provided an overview of the foundation’s programs and challenges, highlighting the need for a waiver on instructional materials to improve access to quality education.
Dr. (Mrs.) Muyibat Olodo, Director of Technical and Science Education, commended the foundation’s initiatives and acknowledged the ministry’s commitment to supporting educational advancements.
She praised the foundation’s contributions and the ministry’s continuous efforts in fostering educational growth.
