Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has accepted the resignation of Maj. Gen. Muhammad Inuwa Idris (Rtd), the Commissioner for Internal Security and Special Services.

In a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf expressed his gratitude to Maj. Gen. Idris for his service to the state, acknowledging his contributions to the ministry’s initial take-off.

The governor described Maj. Gen. Idris as a dedicated public servant and a patriotic Nigerian, wishing him a peaceful and fulfilling retirement.

Although his tenure was brief, Maj. Gen. Idris laid a solid foundation for the ministry, which Governor Yusuf believes his successor can build upon.
