Ramatu Garba The national agency for the prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Kano Zonal Command, has received 15 rescued victims of human trafficking. The agency’s Zonal Commander, Abdullahi Babale, received the rescued victims from the Nigeria Police Force Kano State Command. Babale pointed out that the victims, whose final destination was Libya, were rescued in a house at Bachirawa Quarters in Kano by a team of policemen attached to the Division. There will now be a ministry of regional development to oversee all the regional development commissions, such as Niger Delta Development Commission, North West Development Commission, South West Development Commission , North East Development Commission.
