The Kano State Government has announced the resumption dates for the 2024/2025 second term academic session.
According to the announcement, boarding students in public and private primary and post-primary schools are expected to resume on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

New Academic Session:Kano postpones Schools Resumption
Day students, on the other hand, will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025.
The state government has urged parents and guardians to take note of the resumption dates and ensure that their children comply.
In a statement signed by the Director of Public Enlightenment, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, the government warned that disciplinary action will be taken against defaulting students and pupils.

The Commissioner of Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, reiterated the state government’s commitment to providing quality education and creating a conducive learning environment.
He wished teachers, students, and pupils a successful commencement of the second term academic session.

The government also announced that it will conduct intensive routine monitoring exercises to ensure staff punctuality and efficiency.
