Kano Federal High Court, presided over by Justice AM Liman, has fixed March 28, 2024, for the ruling on the bail application on fundamental enforcement suit by Kano Ticktoker, Murja Ibrahim Kunya against the Kano Shari’ah Court, Hisbah Board, and the Attorney General. The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), has described the establishment of courts and more sexual assault referral centres (SARC) in Kano as a major catalyst in curtailing gender-based violence and other related offences. Kano state government (KNSG), has initiated the distribution of palliatives to patients on admission to government hospitals across the State.
