The Commander General Kano state Hisbah Board, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa says only 6 out of 12 states in northern nigeria have successfully formalised hisbah. Zainab Olufunmi Kano A 40-year-old man, Hassan Kabiru was on Tuesday arraigned at a Kano Sharia Court for allegedly causing grievous hurt to one Haruna Ashiru. The defendant, who lives in Rimin Kebe Quarters, is facing a count charge of criminally causing grievous hurt. The Vice-Chancellor, Bayero University Kano Professor Sagir Adamu, said Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital has conducted over 100 kidney transplants since its inception in 2002. Professor Sagir made the indication during a three-day kidney transplant and urology workshop organized by the tertiary education trust fund (Tetfund), held at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH).
