A court in Kano State has dismissed a lawsuit challenging the leadership of Ambasada Akasim Ishaq Tatari, also known as Balarabe Tatari, as the chairman of the Kantin Kwari Market traders association.

The lawsuit was filed by seven individuals who claimed that Tatari’s leadership was invalid due to some allegations, but the court ruled that these allegations were baseless and lacked merit.

Tatari has described the court’s decision as a major victory for his leadership, and his lawyer, Barrister Suraj Said, successfully defended him against the six allegations made by the plaintiffs.

According to Tatari, the court’s decision is a testament to his commitment to transparency and accountability in the market.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Tatari has faced opposition from some traders in the market.

A few months ago, the same plaintiffs had announced that they had suspended him as the chairman of the market.

However, it seems that the court’s decision has put an end to that controversy.

Tatari has also claimed that he has made significant progress in improving the market since his election, including the construction of roads and drainage systems.

He has urged the traders to unite and work together to develop the market further.
