The Federal Road Safety Corps in Kano (FRSC) has decorated 44 newly promoted officers and admonished them to be courageous and of good conduct.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that among those promoted were three chief route commanders (CRC) promoted to assistant corps commander (ACC) and six route commanders to superintendent route commander (SRC).

Two assistant route commanders (ARC) were promoted to deputy route Commander (DRC), three marshals to inspectors while 30 road marshal assistants were also decorated in Kano.

The Sector Commander, FRSC Kano Command, Umar Matazu while decorating the officers on Friday at the Federal Road Safety Corps office, urged them to reciprocate the good gesture done to them by giving their best.

Matazu represented by the deputy Corps Commander, Hussaini Suleiman, said their diligence and commitment would not only reflect on their personal growth, but also contribute to the overall success of the Command.

According to him, “the road ahead holds new challenges and responsibilities, it is therefore paramount that you justify your promotion through continued excellence in your duties.

“Your elevation signifies not only personal accomplishment, but also commitment to upholding the values and standards of our esteemed organisation,” he said.

Umar Matazu Assumes Duty As FRSC Kano Sector Commander

Matazu expressed appreciation to the FRSC management for the promotion and urged the officers not to disappoint the Corps for the confidence reposed in them.

He advised them to be more committed, dedicated, discipline and loyal while discharging their duties.
