The Head of National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Tarauni Local Government office Hajiya Shamiyya Ibrahim, organized a community awareness campaign focused on the dangers of get-rich-quick schemes, the importance of praying for the nation, and security issues.

The campaign, as reported by the Information Officer of the Tarauni LG Adamu Iliyasu Hotoro, was held at Government Girls Secondary School, Unguwa Uku.
It was attended by traditional rulers, artisans such as carpenters, blacksmiths, mechanics, launderers, and representatives from places of worship. A public awareness walk was also carried out from Zaria Road to Kano line Motor Park.
Hajiya Shamiyya Ibrahim highlighted that the event served as an important platform to educate the public on the dangers of participating in quick-money schemes while emphasizing the need for peace and security in the community.

She further noted that unity is key to national development and vital for fostering good leadership that serves the people effectively.
In her address, the Deputy Director of NOA from Sokoto State, Hajiya Zuwaira Baba, praised the successful execution of the campaign in Tarauni Local Government.
She thanked the local government leadership, the community, and educators for their consistent cooperation and support in implementing awareness programs across the area
