Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, received leaders of the End Bad Governance protest at Government House, pledging to convey their grievances to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The governor appreciated the protesters’ peaceful conduct and decision to use proper channels to voice their concerns.

The governor expressed his appreciation for the orderly manner in which the protesters conducted themselves and their decision to use peaceful and proper channels to voice their concerns.

He assured the leaders that he would promptly lead a powerful delegation from the state to present the grievances of the people to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pending the Presidency’s response.”

He expressed disappointment over reports of thugs disrupting the peaceful protest, causing chaos and unrest, and ordered security agencies to investigate and arrest those involved.

The governor highlighted his administration’s efforts in mitigating economic hardships, including palliatives and empowerment initiatives. Protest leaders conveyed grievances regarding economic difficulties, calling for adjustments to federal economic policies to improve Nigerians’ quality of life.

The meeting demonstrated Governor Yusuf’s commitment to listening to citizens’ concerns and working towards finding solutions.
