Kaduna, Nigeria – After a meeting convened by Governor Uba Sani, Kaduna Electric and its labour unions have reached a resolution to restore electricity to Kaduna State and its franchise states, including Zamfara, Sokoto, and Kebbi.

The agreement, signed by representatives from Kaduna Electric, the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE), and the Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies (SSAEAC), brings an end to the industrial action that began on Sunday.

Immediate Restoration of Electricity: Power will be restored to affected states immediately.

Review of Past Actions: Kaduna Electric’s management will review its past decisions, including the layoffs of 444 workers.

Joint Decision-Making: Both parties have agreed to work together to find solutions.

Governor’s Guarantee: Governor Uba Sani has promised to ensure fairness and transparency in the process.
