Dr. Dahir highlighted ACReSAL’s commitment to supporting the Nigerian government in achieving its long-term goal of integrated climate-resilient landscape management.

This involves restoring one million hectares of degraded land in Northern Nigeria.

“The project has also committed to constructing solar-powered boreholes, which would provide a sustainable source of water”

The Head of the Biological Sciences Department, Mrs. Afiya Hamisu, commended Kano-ACReSAL for the quality and efficiency of its work.

She noted that the intervention provides multiple benefits for students, such as serving as an outdoor classroom and research facility.
