Zero Dose Learning Hub Conducts Facility-Based Immunization Review
In his response, Dr. Nasir Mahmud welcomed the CoP members and appreciated their efforts to improve accountability on immunization budget.
He acknowledged the challenges regarding immunization budgetary releases, which sometimes lead to requesting funds from the health MoU basket.
Dr. Mahmud also emphasized the need for accountability to go beyond government institutions.
He requested the CoP members to help the board independently profile all partners supporting zero-dose initiatives in the state.
This includes documenting project locations and types of activities conducted in the state to improve immunization service delivery.
The AHBN Kano Community of Practice plays a crucial role in promoting immunization budget tracking, accountability, and sustainability in Kano State.
