The Kano State Government has reminded intending Muslim pilgrims to complete their payment for the 2025 Hajj by February 3rd.

The payment, which totals N8,457,685.59, is mandatory for all pilgrims from the Northern Zone.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) had earlier released the final fares for this year’s Hajj, with varying prices for different zones.

Pilgrims from the South Zone are expected to pay N8,784,085.59, while those from Adamawa and Borno will pay N8,327,125.59.

Laminu Danbaffa, Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, emphasized that the deadline for payment is non-negotiable.

He also announced that Kano State has recorded the highest number of registered pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj.

To prepare pilgrims for the spiritual exercise, the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has launched a weekly orientation and enlightenment program.

Pilgrims who have already completed their payment are advised to submit their international passports for Hajj visa processing.
