    Kano Reaffirms Commitment to Supporting PWDs

    The Kano State Ministry of Women Affairs, Children and Disable has reiterated its dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities in the state.

    Honorable Commissioner Hajiya Amina Abdullahi HOD made this commitment clear during a solidarity visit from the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities.

    According to Bintu Nuhu Yakasai, Director Public Enlightenment, Ministry of Women Affairs, Children and Disable, Kano State, the Commissioner assured that her ministry will provide unrelenting support to ensure individuals with disabilities live dignified lives, free from discrimination and stigma.

    The Commissioner emphasized that her ministry will work tirelessly to address the challenges faced by people with disabilities, ensuring they have access to education, healthcare, and economic empowerment opportunities.

    The Commissioner also disclosed that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting people with disabilities in Kano State.

    The Governor’s efforts to promote inclusivity and support for people with disabilities are a testament to his administration’s focus on restoring and transforming the lives of vulnerable populations in Kano State.

    The Chairman of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, Engr. Musa Muhammad Shaga, emphasized their commitment to collaboration during their visit to the commissioner’s office.

    He conveyed their solidarity with the commissioner and assured her that they will work closely together to advance the interests of persons with disabilities in Kano State.

    This commitment to supporting persons with disabilities is a significant step towards creating an inclusive environment in Kano State.

    The ministry’s efforts to address the challenges faced by people with disabilities will undoubtedly have a positive impact on their lives.
