A tragic incident occurred in Danbare, Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State, on Friday, January 24, 2025.
A woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, fell into a well and was confirmed dead by her parents.

The Kano State Fire Service received an emergency call at 09:24 hrs from Bashir Salisu, reporting the incident opposite Amana House.

The fire service’s emergency rescue team quickly responded, arriving at the scene just eight minutes later, at 09:32 hrs.
Upon arrival, the rescue team met with the woman’s parents, who revealed that she had never been married and struggled with anxiety and mental illness.
Despite the rescue team’s efforts, the woman was pulled out unconscious and later confirmed dead.

The victim’s body was handed over to the Ward Head of Danbare, Magaji Kasim. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation by the authorities.
