One of the affected parents, Amina Hassan, tearfully recounted how the bandits stormed her home, killing her husband the chief security officer of the school before abducting the girls.
She appealed to the governor to ensure the perpetrators are arrested and brought to justice.
Authorities confirmed that while 25 students were taken, three managed to escape and returned to the school.
The community remains hopeful as rescue efforts intensify under the direct supervision of the state government.
