The chairman Madobi local government area, Alhaji Suleiman Dan Azumi, received Hisba personnel led by the LGA Commander Malam Sani Abdulsalam to strengthen ties between the council and community security stakeholders.
Alhaji Dan Azumi acknowledged Hisba’s vital role in maintaining social order and promoting peace, emphasizing his council’s commitment to community security development.
During the visit, Malam Sani Abdulsalam congratulated Dan Azumi on his election victory and requested council support for renovating the Commanders Office, an Islamic center, and transportation for effective operations and personnel welfare.
Similarly, the chairman received a delegation from Rikadawa ward, led by Alhaji Ali Khalid, who congratulated him on his victory and requested consideration for the Madobi-Jirgwai-Kubarachi road development.
He assured them that the road project is already included in the 2025 fiscal budget.
In another development, Alhaji Dan Azumi led a tree-planting campaign within the local government secretariat to address erosion challenges.
The event was supervised by Alhaji Auwalu Malami, Malam Dahiru Lawan Bargoni, and Nafi’u M.Tsiga.
